A three-day offsite agenda that actually works
The offsites that produce decisions share a shape: three nights, one question, a group small enough to sleep under one roof, and a venue where nobody has to leave to eat. Here is the agenda we see work most often at the finca.
Day 1 — Tuesday: arrive and open
- 15:00 Check in; Palma airport is 20 minutes away by car. A swim
- 16:30 The one question. The CEO frames it in 20 minutes; the rest of the afternoon is spent making sure everyone understands it the same way
- 20:00 Dinner at the long table. No agenda.
Day 2 — Wednesday: diverge
- 08:00 Breakfast on the porch; no laptops before ten
- 10:00 Three breakout groups, three spaces, three different answers to the question
- 13:00 Lunch, then a walk along the lanes (45 minutes, everyone)
- 15:00 Groups present; the plenary argues
- 18:00 Wine tasting, four Binissalem wines, no work talk
- 20:30 Pizza from the oven; the children’s version works for adults too
Day 3 — Thursday: converge
- 09:00 The decision session: what we will do, who owns it, by when
- 12:30 Long lunch
- 15:00 Free: pool, a nap, the village
- 19:00 Final dinner outside, cooked by the chef
Day 4 — Friday: leave
- 08:00 Breakfast; a short session only if something is unfinished
- 10:00 Check out; the airport is 20 minutes away
Making it happen
For a team of twelve over three nights at La Casa de los Grandes we organise the house, a chef for every meal and the tasting; teams arrange their own cars. See the offsite page or send the dates and we reply with a full proposal within 24 hours.
