## Sencelles
 
A village of 3,000 people with a bakery, two bars, a church, and vineyards around it. It has not been arranged for visitors, which is why it works.
 
The house sits a few minutes outside it, at the end of a lane, with nothing in view but olives, fields and the Tramuntana on the horizon.

**How do we get there from the airport?**
 
20 minutes by car on the Ma-13 motorway; a hire car or a taxi; we do not arrange transport. There is also a train from Palma to Binissalem, 8 minutes from the house by taxi.
 
**Do we need a car?**
 
Yes. The village has a bakery and two bars; the supermarket is 10 minutes by car; the coast 20.
 
**Where is the nearest beach?**
 
20 minutes to the coves on the north coast, 30 to the sand at Alcúdia, 40 to Es Trenc in the south.
