A fiftieth with thirty friends at one table. A fortieth-anniversary lunch for the whole family. A reunion that turns into a weekend. The house does these well because it is a house: the kitchen is open, the music is yours, and nobody has to leave at midnight.

## Questions people ask
 
**Can we bring our own caterer and DJ?**
 
Yes. We ask for their details a month ahead and a quick walk-through the day before.
 
**Can guests stay over?**
 
12 in the house. Everyone else books their own accommodation nearby.
 
**Do you host day events without an overnight?**
 
No. Events come with a stay of at least 2 nights (5 in July, August, Christmas and New Year), so the house is yours for the evening and the morning after.
 
**What if it rains?**
 
Indoors holds about 30 across the dining room, kitchen and family room, so we agree a backup plan with you and your suppliers in advance.

We reply within 24 hours, usually sooner, and we will tell you honestly whether the house is right for it.
